If you have followed the Batcave blog for any length of time you know i have a tendency to include a song often called With Everything by Hillsong. There's a line in that song I would like to bring to your attention. "So let hope rise and darkness tremble in your Holy light that every eye will see Jesus our God great and mighty to be praised." When God does anything it is for His glory. I discovered this verse this week and it goes so well with the words of Jesus. Psalms 145:14 says this. "The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads." We are all carrying loads and struggles and burdens but we aren't meant to do this on our own. Matthew 11:28-30 says this and this is Jesus speaking. "Come to me, all of you who are weak and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light." There is a saying "Well God will never give me more than I can handle." That is an absolute lie. God will always give you more than you can handle. Do you want to know why? So you will have a free will choice to turn to him. too many people choose drugs, sex, liquor, and many other things to mask the pain of life instead of seeking the God who created them and letting Him change their lives. The answer for why God brings things into your life that you can't handle is found in 1 Peter 5:7 "Give all your worries and cares to God for he cares about you," He gets the glory out of taking care of you. One other verse I want you to look at. Psalms 18:19 "He led me to a place of safety; He rescued me because He delights in me." This week cast your cares on God because He cares for you and delights in you. Let hope rise in your heart.

Amen to that Zac! I was doing some Bible study and came upon several of the verses you quoted. I said a prayer while at work after I read the verses and it seems like God is telling me something because when I got home and opened up the Bat Cave the first post I read was this one. God works in mysterious ways and behind the scenes where we do not see or know what he is doing. I believe with all my heart God wants us to give him all our worries, fears, problems and anxiety. I believe that God wants us to do this to show us how awesome of a God he is and this is how he proves to us He loves us more than we could have ever imagined. Thanks Zac. I needed to read this post.
