Wind and waves obey

Wind and waves obey

 2 Samuel 5:17-25

17When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over Israel, they went up in full force to search for him, but David heard about it and went down to the stronghold. 18Now the Philistines had come and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim; 19so David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?”
The Lord answered him, “Go, for I will surely deliver the Philistines into your hands.”
20So David went to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said, “As waters break out, the Lord has broken out against my enemies before me.” So that place was called Baal Perazim.c 21The Philistines abandoned their idols there, and David and his men carried them off.
22Once more the Philistines came up and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim;23so David inquired of the Lord, and he answered, “Do not go straight up, but circle around behind them and attack them in front of the poplar trees. 24As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move quickly, because that will mean the Lord has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.” 25So David did as the Lord commanded him, and he struck down the Philistines all the way from Gibeond to Gezer.

If you watch the news and the weather especially you hear about Mother Nature.  She doesn't exist.  If you listen to celebrities and politicians they will try to tell you climate change is real.  No that doesn't exist either. If you read the above passage you see God being in control with the sound of marching feet in the poplar trees.  In Genesis 1 it describes creation and God spoke it all into being.  If you look at Jonah chapter 1:4 "But the Lord hurled a powerful wind over the sea, causing a violent storm that threatened to break the ship apart."   Then he sent a great fish to swallow Jonah."  There's a taxi driver you don't want.  See the Bible doesn't leave room for this climate change or Mother Nature nonsense.  No God gets the credit and him alone.  Jesus his own son could command the wind and waves and even have Peter walk on water.  Next time someone tries to tell you about Mother Nature or climate change.  Send them to the Bible and remind them the one who created it all is still on his throne and in control.
During the triumphal entry the Pharisees did the stupid thing of trying to tell Jesus what to do (He always wins that discussion).  He was told to tell his disciples and others not to shout praises and Jesus reminded them who he was.  "If they kept quiet , the stones along the road would burst into cheers."
I've heard and seen the idea online that God may have created the world but then he left it alone after that.  I think not baby puppy.  Humor me here on this bad idea if he left it alone wouldn't the Big Bang actually happen and it wouldn't create anything it would be utter chaos.  Planets would be out of alignment and weather would truly be nuts.  Some of you say it already is I say you're a few French fries short of a Happy Meal because it could be way worse and if you stop and think you know I'm right.  See the problem with this idea is you have a small view of God.  That attitude refuses to admit to God still being in control because if you don't acknowledge he is then you don't think you have to answer to him but you still do.
  He's still in control people.

Matthew 5:45 "In that way, you will be acting as true children of Your Father in Heaven.  For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and unjust alike.".

Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
